Advanced dairy technologist - Level 5 - Apprenticeship Training
This apprenticeship training is designed for apprentices who are involved with producing and developing dairy products from raw materials including milk from sheep, cows and goats. Products include cheese, ice cream, liquid milk and powders.
The training usually lasts for 36 months.
Qualifications
Foundation degree in dairy technology.
Apprentices must achieve level 2 English and maths (equivalent to GCSEs at grades A* to C) before taking their end-point assessment.
