Aerospace engineer - Level 6 - Apprenticeship Training
This apprenticeship training is designed for apprentices who are involved with the creation of aircraft equipment and components, with a specialisation in a specific engineering discipline such as systems integration, manufacturing, design and stress, airframe or support engineering.
The training usually lasts for 48 months.
Qualifications
- Foundation competence - Level 2 aerospace and aviation.
- Development competence - Level 4 engineering and manufacture.
- Development technical knowledge - Level 5 aerospace engineering.
- Employer stipulated level 6 Bachelor Honours degree (BEng).
Apprentices must achieve level 2 English and maths (equivalent to GCSEs at grades A* to C) before taking their end-point assessment.
