Apprenticeship Description

Aircraft maintenance certifying engineer (fixed and rotary wing) - Level 4 - Apprenticeship Training
This apprenticeship training is designed for apprentices involved with certifying and maintaining an array of military and civil aircraft that include, but not limited to crafts like jet fighters, small aeroplanes, helicopters and passenger liners.
The training usually lasts for 48 months.
Qualifications
- Foundation competence - Level 2 aerospace and aviation.
- Development competence - Level 4 aerospace and aviation.
- Certification against the EASA part 66 modules - (B licence).
Apprentices must achieve level 23 English, and maths and physics (equivalent to GCSEs at grades A* to B) before taking their end-point assessment.
