Aviation maintenance mechanic (military) - Level 2 - Apprenticeship Standard
Carrying out maintenance and ground handling of a range of military and civil aircraft within a military environment, including helicopters and jet fighters.

Qualifications
* level 2 certificate in aircraft maintenance (military aircraft) * level 2 aviation maintenance mechanic (competence) * level 2 aviation maintenance mechanic (competence) - optional Before taking their end-point assessment apprentices must: * achieve level 1 English and maths (equivalent to GCSEs at grades D to G) * take the test for level 2 English and maths (equivalent to GCSEs at grades A* to C)
