Food Safety Level 2 - Highfield Accredited
This one-day food safety course and qualification is to prepare attendees for employment in a catering role, or to support a role in the workplace. The food safety course is available online or in a classroom.

- Introduction to Food Safety
- Food Safety Management
- The Law
- Food Safety Hazards
- Food Handlers
- Delivery and storage
- Preparation, cooking, serving and preservation
- Cleaning and disinfection, and waste disposal
- Pest control
Attendees successfully gaining this qualification will know that food safety is the responsibility of everyone involved in the storage, preparation, cooking, service and handling of food. Its topics are regarded by the Foods Standards Agency as being important to maintaining good practice in the production of safe food.
