Railway Engineering Programme

The Intermediate apprenticeship may take up to 18 months to complete and the advanced apprenticeship may take up to 24 months to complete. Both levels of apprenticeship include classroom and practical learning and various forms of assessment.

Individuals can expect to work and train in all types of weather, and be expected to do physical tasks, such as heavy lifting which is a big requirement of most jobs when working on the railway.

This specific programme is aimed at getting individuals into the Rail sector and progressed from the "Blue Hat" mentorship process to experienced white hat individuals. In addition to the vocational training the following industry training will be provided:
