What are fitness classes?

Fitness classes are high-intense training sessions offered extensively by certified personal trainers, typically divided into 3 specific sections; a light warm-up, an energetic and intense workout, and a closing cool down. The exercises offered throughout are professionally structured and uniquely designed to:

  • Help build your self-confidence
  • Provide you with energetic and effective full-body workouts
  • Improve your cardiovascular fitness
  • Enhance your overall body balance

Whether you're looking to train for an upcoming Triathlon, work on your fitness level, strength, and stamina, or simply want to have fun with your friends, then you should most definitely sign up! People of all ages, gender, shapes, and sizes are duly encouraged to take part; no partners required.

Why should you take up fitness classes?

You don’t have to run as far as Mo Farah or cycle the length of the Giro d’Italia to stay fit and healthy! As a matter of fact, health professionals have claimed that being active for as little as 30 minutes a day can be enough to help keep you in shape and maintain overall well-being.

The highly-acclaimed online medical expert guide Healthline specifically outlines the several benefits of regular exercise, on both the body and the mind, particularly noting its capacity to:

  • Make you Feel Happier
  • Help with Weight Loss
  • Help your Muscles and Bones
  • Increase your Energy Levels
  • Reduce your Risk of Chronic Disease
  • Improve Skin Health
  • Help overall Brain Health and Memory
  • Improve Relaxation and Sleep Quality
  • Reduce Pain

''Exercise offers incredible benefits that can improve nearly every aspect of your health from the inside out. Regular physical activity can increase the production of hormones that make you feel happier and help you sleep better.''

''It can also improve your skin's appearance, help you lose weight and keep it off, lessen the risk of chronic disease and improve your sex life. Whether you practice a specific sport or follow the guideline of 150 minutes of activity per week, you will inevitably improve your health in many ways!''

What is offered during the classes?

One-to-one feedback from certified instructors and individual training/food plans, paired with self-assessment and group work is guaranteed to help you improve your form and bring you one step closer to reaching your fitness goals!

This structured progress will be achieved through:

  • Exercises aimed at improving your posture and alignment during workouts
  • Proper diaphragm breathing techniques
  • Exercises focusing on your core stability and strength
  • Knowing specifically which muscles to train and how

What should you wear and bring along to the lessons?

In order to be able to take part and go through all the exercises in the most comfortable and straightforward way, you will be required to have:

  • An exercise/yoga mat
  • Comfortable, loose clothing of your choice to allow for movement (no shoes required)
  • A Small hand towel – optional
