Each Learner receives 1:1 follow up support on completion of the 4 week programme. We work with small cohorts for the learners to be more engaged and interact (max 12). You will receive the training pack and handouts. Global PA Association are a recognised Training Provider with the ILM and Members of the CPD Standards Office.

Module 1: Managing the Executive Office & the Team

Managing your Executive's Office. Discover new tools and techniques in how to manage your Executive's Day from diary management, travel itineraries, juggling tasks, planning and prioritising your tasks. You will be emailed a Workbook to continue your learning.

Module 2: The 5 Key Management Skills

Review of the 5 key Management Skills and explore how to develop your own management strengths. Measure your skillset against your capabilities within your current role. Discover how to manage the impact of Business Change in a highly pressured environment. Build effective relationships with Leaders, Managers & your Peers.

Module 3: Communication at Work – Developing your Interpersonal Skills. Explore the key communication skills for effective engagement in the workplace.  Learn how to practice the art of diplomacy and good judgement when managing an Executive Office. Manage difficult situations with confidence.

Module 4: Developing your Potential and integrating your Management capabilities at Work. Grow self awareness and increase your confidence and productivity. Discover how to optimise your strengths and implement strategies for self improvement. Measure your skillset against your capabilities within your current role. Create a personal development plan for the next 1 year and explore the benefits of CPD (continuing professional development points). Global PA are members of the CPD Standards Office and we actively encourage our Members to complete an Annual CPD Record to track their professional development.

This 4 week programme is for Executive Assistants, Personal Assistants, Executive PAs, Secretaries, Senior Secretaries, Team PAs & Admin Assistants.

Outcome / Qualification etc.

On completion you are eligible to receive the CPD Standards Office CPD Certificate.  The ILM Advanced EA Programme Certificate is also available at £100.

  • Build a strong partnership with your Manager and learn how to anticipate and meet their expectations. Discover how to create a roadmap of tasks, the benefit of the daily Pow Wow, how to practice the helicopter view and reassess your time management methods.
  • Understand What is Management and the key management functions and measure your performance against them. Discover how to implement management capabilities into your current role.
  • Review the Communication Cycle and how varying methods can impact on how a message is received. Understand behaviour styles and become a good listener. Complete assessment of your Johari window and become aware of the impact of your communication style
  • Develop your potential within your current role to enabling further support of your Manager and his Team. Grow self awareness and increase confidence and productivity completing a personal development plan guided by your Trainer.
