Is this course right for me?

This qualification is ideal for project managers, department heads, and other practising middle managers. This qualification is also useful for those who are preparing to step up into a more senior management position.

Are there any formal entry requirements?

There are no formal entry requirements for this course, however those who join this programme should ideally already be in a middle management or project management role or planning to move into a more senior role in the next 12 months.

Please note that for our online programmes, you are required to have access to suitable IT resources (access to a laptop/PC/iPad/tablet) and an internet connection to be able to access the ‘live’ online workshops.

Training Course Content

This qualification is made up of a range of modules covering core leadership and management skills and this flexibility in module choice allows the qualifications to be tailored to meet the needs of those participating in the programme. The range of modules we offer as part of this programme fall into the following areas:

  • Working with people – how to deal effectively with stress and conflict, manage remote teams and build excellent customer relations
  • Managing yourself and personal development skills –assessing your own leadership performance and developing your critical reflective thinking skills
  • Providing direction – leading high-performing teams to achieve organisational goals and objectives making strong and informed management decisions.
  • Facilitating innovation and change –building a culture of continuous improvement and effectively leading others through change
  • Achieving results – understanding how to manage for efficiency and effectiveness and managing projects that get results
  • Using resources – managing facilities and effective use of management information.
