This course is for any adult interested in flower arranging, with or without previous experience, who wishes to gain confidence in arranging flowers for their own use and/or in the community. Practical work can be adjusted to your ability.
The following knowledge and skills will be covered during the course: Mechanics of flower arranging Conditioning/Boying/Cutting plant material Style of different containers Elements of design - including space, form, colour and texture Principles of design - including balance, scale, rhythm, harmony Preserving plant material As part of your course and where the opportunity occurs literacy/numeracy together with speaking and listening skills will be developed.
