Course description
SUPPORTING TEACHING & LEARNING IN SCHOOLS LEVEL 2 CERTIFICATE NCFE (QCF): If you work or wish to work in schools supporting teaching and learning, then this course is for you. It is ideal for teaching assistants working under the direction of the teacher. This course will enable the learner to develop the knowledge and skills needed when supporting teaching and learning in the school environment. It is suitable for both employed and voluntary teaching assistants.You have a choice of possible option units such as preparing and maintaining the learning environment or displays. There are further option units including Special Educational Needs.

Suitability - Who should attend?
You need to be at least 18 years of age. You need to be employed or working as a volunteer teaching assistant for 6 hours per week. You need to complete a literacy assessment at level 1 to study this qualification.
