Course description
This course will suit those who have passed First Certificate in English or have an equivalent level of English. The aim of this course is to extend and deepen the learner's knowledge of the language. Listening and speaking will be emphasised during the 10 week course. In relation to listening the learners will be exposed to a range of accents and topics which will improve their ability to understand in a wide variety of situations, including listening to the radio and participating in meetings.
If you reach an appropriate level of English you will be encouraged to take the Cambridge Advanced English (CAE) exam at the end of the course. Entries are made on line via the Cambridge English website:
