Course description
This course is suitable for those who have already studied Modern Greek two years and one term. Emphasis will be given to topics such as talking about actions and daily routine that will be taking place on a regular basis, professions and personal attributes and preferences, signs and clothes, making assumptions and comparisons.
By the end of the course you will have been given the opportunity to practise:
talking about actions that will happen on a regular basis
talking about actions one likes to do
talking about actions one would do if something would happened
talking about actions using time phrases (when..., once... since...)
making comparisons
buying clothes, specifying material, size and style
You will also have been introduced to the following aspects of grammar
the continuous past tense of all verbs
the continuous subjunctive of all verbs
the imperfect tense of all verbs (revision)
verbs in the passive voice (revision)
the adjectives and their comparative forms
compound adjectives
connectors
relative pronoun (as much/ as many)
