Japanese Upper Intermediates

This course will suit people who have already studied Japanese for nine terms or who have studied the textbooks "Japanese For Busy People 1" and “Japanese For Busy People 2” up to part of Lesson 12 and also can read and write hiragana, katakana, and about 130 basic kanji.

The aim of the course is to develop your confidence and ability to communicate effectively and express opinions in authentic situations such as social occasions and everyday conversation. Students are expected to be confident using hiragana and katakana as well as 130 kanji appeared in the textbook up to Lesson 12. The focus of the course is on all four skills, particularly speaking, listening and reading. There would be some opportunities of writing exercises in lessons as well. Basic grammar will be explained to help you understand the structure of the language.
