Course description
The course welcomes students of all abilities and will be structured accordingly. Emphasis will be placed on acquiring the discipline of thoughtful observation. By the end of the course you will have the opportunity to: use strategies to maximise the potential for accurate observation and recording; gain an understanding of the language of drawing through personal experience and by looking at how other artists have used mark making in their work; become competent in planning composition and using different skills as applicable not only life drawing, but all types of drawing; to have developed confidence in and enjoyment of drawing generally.
