Course description
This course is suitable for those who have already studied Spanish for one term.
The course is based on a communicative approach and aims to develop the skills of listening, speaking, reading and writing in the foreign language. It aims to enable students to understand and use Spanish effectively for purposes of practical communication, to develop some understanding of grammar and to offer insights into the culture of Spanish speaking countries.
This course will give you the opportunity to learn the Spanish for the following:
Describing and comparing homes.
Numbers 100-1000.
Expressing likes and dislikes.
Time and daily routine.
Expressing frequency.
Describing someone´s appearance and clothes.
Colours.
Shopping.
Talking about dates.
brYou will also learn some basic grammar, in particular:
Prepositions.
Use of 'hay' and 'está'.
Comparatives.
Interrogatives “cuánto/a/os/as”.
Uses of the verbs: “gustar”, “interesar”, “encantar”.
Present tense of regular verbs.
Present tense of stem changing verbs.
Reflexive verbs in the present tense.
Adverbs of sequence and frequency.
Gender and number of adjectives.
