Course Aims

Who Should Attend? The Basic Life Support and Safe Use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) course is suitable for all employees in a workplace where an AED is present for public use, whether or not they have previously undertaken first-aid training. Successful completion of the training programme will provide candidates with the essential knowledge and skills to be able to recognise when someone has suffered cardiac arrest and to respond to the emergency quickly, calmly and confidently.

Certification

Delegates successfully completing the course will receive a Basic Life Support and Safe Use of an Automated External Defibrillator certificate. Recommended requalification every three years.
