This one-day in-house programme accredited by the UK's Chartered Institute of Environmental Health, provides those who carry out manual handling at work with the essential information about preventing, handling and controlling hazards. The bespoke course aims to explore underlying knowledge and best practice required to minimise the risks associated with manual handling.
The on-site training day includes practical exercises which give participants the opportunity to apply the principles of safer handling. In addition, the programme explores the legal framework regulating manual handling operations and the process for assessing health & safety risks.
