CITB Site Management Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS)
This training programme enables construction site supervisors to understand responsibilities and accountability for site safety and lead their teams proactively and in a health & safety compliant manner. Completing the training requirements and gaining the official SMSTS qualification are listed in the Approved Code of Practice for the CDM Regulations as a demonstration of competence in the role of site manager.
The five-day training programme delivered by HSS Training will focus on CDM regulations for supervisors and health & safety risk assessment strategies. The course covers the requirements for various construction projects, from excavation, scaffolding, demolition to work in confined spaces.

The cost of this course is £449 + VAT per participants. This sum includes registration, certification and exam fees. The price also covers the construction skills publication Construction Site Safety – Health, Safety and Environmental Information Manual (GE700).
