HSG47 - U4 Familiarisation and Practical Use of SPX Cat & Genny Gen 4 - City & Guilds

This course is designed for supervisors and operatives to interpret utility plans, work permits and demonstrate safe use of SPX Gen 4 & Genny.

Course Aims

Who ShouldAttend?This course is aimed at Managers, Supervisors and Operatives in construction, utilities, telecommunications and petrochemical industries who are required to locate underground apparatus during planned excavations. This course is designed to provide Participants with the skills and knowledge required to understand permits to work and to carry out the location of underground services in accordance with HSG47, including the safe operation of CAT GEN 4 Cable Avoidance Tool and Signal Generator (GENNY).

Certification

Participants successfully completing the course, including the written and practical assessments are awarded a City & Guilds approved certificate.
