IPAF Competent Assessed Person (CAP)

IPAF Competent Assessed Person (CAP) Accredited course provides guidance on regulatory compliance on examination of MEWPS.

Course Aims

Who Should Attend Platform engineers or anyone who is responsible for the safety and maintenance of powered access equipment (MEWP or MCWP) and for ensuring that examinations have been carried out. Assess engineers as competent persons to plan, manage or carry out thorough examinations of MEWPs in compliance with regulatory requirements including the WAHR, LOLER and PUWER.

Certification

Delegates successfully completing the course will be awarded documentary evidence that they are certified as a competent person as well as receiving an IPAF CAP (Competent Assessed Person) card. Valid for 5 years.
