Course designed to train staff to correctly determine their roles and responsibilities when undertaking Points Operator duties.

Course Aims
To familiarise Participants with their surroundings and introduce them to the function of points on the infrastructure. This course aims to instruct Participants on correctly determining their roles and responsibilities of undertaking Point Operator Duties. By the end of the course, Participants will be able to demonstrate their understanding and ability to manually operate power points motors in line with relevant rules and regulations. All applicants must hold a valid Sentinel Track Safety Card endorsed with either Individual working alone or COSS Competence. Who Should Attend Any person referred by their sponsor who is required to undertake Point Operator Duties.

Certification
Upon successful completion of this course, competencies will be uploaded to Sentinel. Sentinel smart cards are ordered directly from Sentinel at www.railsentinel.co.uk
