Structure of the Course
To achieve the CIPD Intermediate Certificate in Human Resource Management, you need a total of 32 credits, which you'll gain by completing all of the core modules and two out of a possible four optional modules.
You'll complete the programme in two parts. In the first, you'll study all four core modules:
- Developing Professional Practice (4 credits)
- Using Information in HR (4 credits)
- Business Issues and the Contexts of HR (6 credits)
- Managing and Coordinating the HR Function (6 credits)
For the second part, you'll complete any two out of the four optional modules:
- Resourcing and Talent Planning (6 credits)
- Reward Management (6 credits)
- Employment Law (6 credits)
- Contemporary Developments in Employment Relations (6 credits)
You can either pay for your course in full or opt for an interest-free payment plan. You'll pay a small deposit and the rest by monthly direct debit. Our plans are flexible, so you can extend the terms or pay your balance off sooner if you choose.
Please note that CIPD's annual Student membership fees are additional to your course fee.
Once you've completed this Intermediate Certificate, you could expand your knowledge by studying the full CIPD Level 5 Diploma.
It covers all the units that are on the Certificate plus several extra, so you'll gain more comprehensive knowledge of HR management. You'll pay only the difference between the cost of the courses, and study only the units that the Certificate didn't cover.
