Ethics for Engineers - 1-day course for engineers on environment friendly practices
This practical one-day course has been designed to help course participants explore the impact of ethical issues on their working life. Delegates will be introduced to the process of ethical reasoning and will explore how ethical values are applied in an engineering context. Through scenario-based training, they will practise identifying and dealing with ethical issues as they arise.
As a result of taking part in this course participants will be able to:
- tackle difficult workplace situations with confidence in conjunction with the strategy, objectives and ethos of their company;
- understand and apply professional codes of practice;
- recognise and be able to meet their responsibilities towards their companies, clients, colleagues, government agencies, the public and the environment;
- develop critical thinking and reasoning skills.
This course can also be offered in the in-house/company specific format for groups of participants.
