Course description
The approach is communicative & cultural topics relating to Spain and Latin America will be introduced.
The course will start with a review of some topics from the beginners’ course: present tense and its irregularities, reflexive verbs, gustar and similar verbs. Then new grammatical forms will be introduced: gerund, imperative, past tenses. Further topics may be included depending on the needs and level of the group.
Cultural aspects of Spanish-speaking countries will be introduced through listening exercises, reading and class activities.
Throughout the course, Spanish will be the language of communication and all students will be encouraged to communicate in the target language in the classroom.
