Course description

This course from the Institution of Chemical Engineers will expand your understanding of how sustainable practices can be applied to your work in the chemical and process industries and how you can use your engineering skills to help your organisation achieve its sustainability goals.

You will explore what it means to take a sustainability-first approach to business, and cultivate this as your default mindset. You will also evaluate the challenges and opportunities for employers and learn about their responsibilities to operate sustainably though a series of case studies.

There will be an assessment at the end of the course. Delegates who pass the assessment will receive an IChemE Introduction to Sustainable Process Engineering pass certificate.

My past experience learning about sustainability was dull and boring. I enjoyed seeing a new spin into it with the case study.
