Construction Site Supervisor – Level 4 Apprenticeship

Develop the skills you need to be a knowledgeable, qualified construction site supervisor with a level 4 apprenticeship.

Learn how to manage projects and teams, monitor quality and costs, understand sustainability, health and safety and much more.

This course aims to include all the knowledge, skills and behaviours typically required to achieve technician status, or the equivalent with the industry’s recognised professional bodies.

The final assessment process for this apprenticeship will typically be representative of the review process required for professional registration.

Suitability - Who should attend?

Entry Requirements for English and maths:

Apprentices are required to meet the initial entry points for English and maths as follows:

  • For level 2 Apprenticeship training for companies the minimum entry level for English and maths is ‘Entry level 3’ (E3).
  • For all level 3 and 4 Apprenticeship training for companies the minimum English and maths level 1, ideally level 2.
  • For level 5 and 6 Apprenticeship training for companies, the minimum English and maths should be level 2, some individual circumstances may be considered at level 1.

Initial assessment is completed prior to starting the course. All applicants will be supported to attain these entry levels prior to joining the course, or whilst on the course, where possible.

Apprentices working with young people and vulnerable adults would be required to hold a DBS clearance as necessary.

Eligibility:

You’ll need to be:

  • 16 or over by the end of the summer holidays.
  • Living in England.
  • Not in full-time education.

Who it's for:

Typical job roles include assistant site manager, assistant supervisor or construction site supervisor. In the case of SME construction companies, the roles are likely to include site manager or site supervisor.
