Advanced Apprenticeship in HR Support

Apprenticeships give you the opportunity to work for an employer, earn a salary and at the same time study to achieve a nationally recognised qualification whilst gaining valuable workplace skills and experience.

Apprenticeships are flexible and are designed to offer a structured programme of learning to fit around the needs of the individual and the employer and gain recognised qualifications.

The level 3 HR Apprenticeship standard for HR support is particularly suitable for those working in a large to medium organisation as part of the HR function delivering front line support to managers and employees, or as a HR manager in a small organisation.

Employers always need competent and efficient HR staff. Learners will gain a qualification for things that they already can do and are competent at, whilst developing new skills and acquiring valuable background knowledge which will also lead to additional qualifications.

Core Knowledge, Skills and Behaviours

Knowledge; Business Understanding, HR Legislation and Policy, HR function and HR systems and processes. Skills; Service delivery, Problem solving, communication and interpersonal, teamwork, process improvement, Managing HR information and Personal development.

Behaviours; Honesty and Integrity, flexibility and Resilience. Apprentices without level 2 English and Maths will need to achieve this level prior to completion of their Apprenticeships.
