Course description
This course offers the opportunity to develop skills in beauty therapy providing the foundation for a range of work opportunities in an industry which is dedicated to helping people look and feel their best. This course includes: Health, Safety & Hygiene; Client Care and Communication; Facials; Eyelash and Eyebrow Treatments; Waxing; Manicure; Pedicure; Make up. Practical work takes place in the College's purpose built beauty salons, providing a realistic working environment where treatments are performed on paying clients. On completion students progress to Level 3 Diploma in Beauty Therapy.

Suitability - Who should attend?
Students need to have: three GCSE's at grade C - D to include English or Maths. Satisfactory school reference, successful interview and diagnostic screening is required prior to any placement offer.
