Course description
The Level 3 in Beauty Therapy course offers the opportunity to develop skills in beauty therapy, leading to employment in a thriving profession dedicated to helping people look and feel their best. This course is suitable for students between the ages of 16-18 years; older students may be interested in the VTCT Level 3 Diploma in Beauty Therapy Studies (Adults).

Practical work is completed in the College’s purpose-built salons and theory rooms. All students receive tutorial guidance and are set personal targets to achieve. Continuous assessment of beauty therapy skills ensures satisfactory progress. (Entry to the course entitles application for Student Membership of the British Association of Beauty Therapy & Cosmetology (BABTAC). Membership enables students to attend national/international beauty events). On completion students progress to Employment (Beauty Therapist), Spas, Hotels, Health Clubs, Complementary Therapies.

Suitability - Who should attend?
Applicants should have GCSE at grade 4 in English or Maths and an industry recognised level 2 Beauty Therapy qualification. Satisfactory reference, successful interview and screening.
