Intensive Biomedical Practical Training (Histology)
This biomedical science course is designed to address the shortage of Biomedical Scientist’s within the Histopathology department nationwide. The course is specifically for those without prior diagnostic experience within the histopathology laboratory and wishes to pursue a career in histopathology laboratory as a Trainee Biomedical Scientist and/or Histology Associate Practitioner.
This biomedical science course will equip you with the skills and techniques to work efficiently in the Histopathology laboratory. You will gain experience in working both independently and as part of a team during your training.

Suitability - Who should attend?
This course will equip you with a transferable skills and wide range of knowledge of histological techniques. It is a sensible choice if your interest is in Biomedical Science or you want to work for the NHS to help people. The course is also open to Biomedical Sciences students who wish to specialise in histopathology. The intensive practical would give them work experience that is required by laboratory managers.
