Intensive Biomedical Practical Training (Microbiology)
This Intensive Microbiology Training is designed to address the shortage of experienced Biomedical Scientist’s within the microbiology department nationwide. The biomedical course is specifically for those without prior diagnostic experience within the microbiology laboratory and wishes to pursue a career in microbiology laboratory as Associate Practitioner, Trainee Biomedical Scientist or Biomedical Scientist.
This biomedical science course will equip you with the skills and techniques required to work efficiently within the microbiology laboratory without further training. You will gain experience of working both independently and as part of a team during your training.

This course will equip you with a transferable skills and wide range of knowledge of microbiological techniques. It is a sensible choice if your interest is in Biomedical Science or you want to work for the NHS to help people. The course is also open to Biomedical Science students who wish to specialise in microbiology. The intensive practical will give you the experience that is required by laboratory managers.

Once you have successfully completed your training, you will receive a completed LabMedExpert portfolio and a CPD Accredited certificate. The portfolio will display your competency level pertaining to the course.
