Course description
AIM - L1 Award in Health and Safety in a Construction Environment (2022)
This course is for you if you’re considering, or already working within, the construction and civil engineering industry.
To work on a construction site you will need to have a valid CSCS Green Card.
There are three stages to obtaining your CSCS card:
- Complete this course, which leads to a fully accredited Level 1 Award in Health and Safety in a Construction Environment. This qualification is an essential part of your application for your CSCS card.
- Go to a CITB Touch Screen Test centre to book your CITB HS&E test.
- Once you have passed both of the above, apply for the card.
- This course is completed online on a PC or a laptop.

Awarding Body: AIM Awards
Our qualifications are Regulated Qualifications issued by the leading Awarding Organisations that are recognised throughout the UK.
The certificate successful learners receive on completion of a Regulated Qualification will contain the logo of the Awarding Organisation, and the relevant UK Regulator (Ofqual) along with the full qualification title and qualification number.
