The ITIL Planning, Protection and Optimisation course will teach you how to create and implement a reliable and stable IT infrastructure throughout your organisation. This course has a strong focus on the key ITIL processes as well as other factors within the capability stream.
During the ITIL Planning, Protection and Optimisation course, students will be taught how service management creates business value, the risk management process, key processes and the activities that are associated with them, considerations to be made towards technology and its implementation and continual process improvement.
The ITIL Planning, Protection and Optimisation course follows the following syllabus:
- Module 1 – Introduction to Planning, Protection and Optimisation
- Module 2 – Capacity Management
- Module 3 – Availability Management
- Module 4 – IT Service Continuity Management
- Module 5 – Information Security Management
- Module 6 – Demand Management
- Module 7 – PPO Roles and Responsibilities
- Module 8 – Technology and Implementation Considerations
- Module 9 - Exam Preparation
Upon completion of this course, you will earn 4 ITIL credits that will count towards gaining the ITIL Expert certification which requires a total of 22 ITIL credits.
