Successful completion of this three-day course provided by LRQA enables you to incorporate ISO 22000 into your lead auditor portfolio. Expanding on your existing lead auditor knowledge, it will expand on the requirements of ISO 22000 and the associated requirements to enable you to conduct second and third-party audits against the requirements in the standard.

Who should attend?
If you are a qualified lead auditor in another discipline, you can attend this course if your organisation operates within the food supply chain and you are required to conduct second and third-party audits against ISO 22000. This will as ISO 22000 lead auditing to your professional portfolio.
To attend this course, you must be a qualified lead auditor in another discipline and must have extensive auditing experience. You should also have a good understanding of the food supply chain as well as understand the principles in ISO 22000, understand the good manufacturing practices and the HACCP principles.

This course will expand on your existing lead auditor knowledge and explain the principles, processes and techniques for the assessment and management of food safety hazards. It explains the importance of aligning food safety specific controls with other management system controls and how continual improvement is applied within a food safety management system.
It provides guidance on how to gather objective evidence, relate your audit findings and report accurately against the requirements in ISO 22000.
