Course description

Influencing Skills Training

Influencing supply chain teams, buyers and NPD teams is tough. A lot of business could be lost as a result of not enough influencing or the wrong influencing. This programme is CPD accredited.

The Influencing Skills Training course consists of 1+1 classroom days, 6 months apart with support in between these days. Making Business Matter uses Sticky Learning, a unique training method delivered by a world-class tutor that has a wealth of experience in the UK Grocery Industry.

Learning objectives

Participants will be able to:

  • Use a variety of tools and strengthen self-awareness and inner confidence through including positive self talk and visualisation.
  • Demonstrate body language that is congruent with the message that they wish to send.
  • Read and recognise others' body language and use this positively to enhance relationships.
  • Use a range of NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming) techniques, including mirroring and matching, to create and strengthen rapport with others.
  • Demonstrate the skills of an assertive approach to influencing.
