How to Avoid Discrimination, Victimisation, Harassment and Unconscious Bias in the Workplace

With Tribunal cases rarely out of the news these days, the #metoo and #BlackLivesMatter movements have raised awareness of these issues to another level. HR and management teams need to be fully aware of what signs to look out for to identify issues, how to prevent the wrong culture from being established in their business, and what to do if instances or complaints arise.

This course will not only look at the legal implications of dealing with complaints and workplace issues but will also equip you with a very practical perspective on how to manage them when they do arise and how to take steps to avoid them arising in the first place.

The expert trainer will also give you all the information you will need on the latest government guidelines and how to ensure your relevant policies and practices are up to date and in line with best practice.

Finally, we will additionally consider how unconscious bias and microaggressions can be recognised and eliminated from all areas of an employee's life cycle and give attendees the knowledge they need to coach line managers and others to avoid these issues occurring from recruitment through to termination.
