Presented by Cristín Toman, a barrister who specialises in property and insolvency work, this virtual classroom seminar will provide you with an introduction to insolvency law and is suitable for lawyers and insolvency practitioners seeking to refresh their knowledge and catch up with latest developments, as well as those with no previous insolvency knowledge.
It will provide an overview of corporate insolvency procedures, including administration, Part A1 moratorium, and restructuring plans, as well as covering individual insolvency procedures, such as bankruptcy, debt relief orders, and individual voluntary arrangements.
The session will also look at the practice and procedure for bankruptcy petitions, winding up, and administration. Common issues arising in bankruptcy will also be explored.
