Supervising First Aid For Mental Health Level 3 – Online Course (2 Day)

This 2 day course qualifies you as a Mental Health First Aider covering:

  • Cover content and theory Level 2/5 Award in First Aid for Mental Health
  • Broader range of mental health conditions
  • Looks into the range of therapy and professional support available to person
  • Including professional bodies during treatment for a mental health issue

This course can be delivered 100% online.

RQF Level 3 Award:

  • FAA Level 3 Award in Supervising First Aid for Mental Health (RQF)

SCQF Level 6 Award:

  • Award in Leading First Aid for Mental Health at SCQF Level 6

  • Providing advice and starting a conversation
  • Drugs and alcohol
  • First Aid for Mental Health action plan
  • First Aid for Mental Health in the workplace
  • A large range of Mental Health conditions covered in detail

  • This is a 2 day classroom based face to face course divided into 4 sections.
  • Learning will take place via a mix of presentations combined with group discussions and workshop activities
  • Sessions build around a Mental Health First Aid Action Plan
  • Numbers limited to 6-12 people per course ensuring people are getting the correct level of support during their learning

Brilliant
The course was brilliant.  I was dreading spending such a long time on Zoom but it was so very engaging this was not an issue at all. I have just been advised of successfully completing the course and feel very prepared to be competently able to use these newly learnt skills as required.

It was a really engaging course.
I found it an extremely valuable couple of days, but I’m very pleased the assessments are over (saying that, the role-play we did was very useful)!! There was a lot for Richie to incorporate into the time but he included polls, video’s, real life examples and similar and it was really engaging throughout.
