Course description
The course is designed to develop your technical skills in using accounting software. You will be using SAGE Line 50 and this qualification complements the other Level 1 AAT qualifications. The course is made up of the following components: Recognising potential risks and knowing how to protect accounting software against threats as well as differentiating between cloud / traditional accounting software; Setting up general ledger accounts; Recording bank and cash transactions from a variety of documents; Producing a variety of business reports such as a trial balance and similar.
You will take one computer-based online assessment at the end of the course. This course will give you the knowledge and confidence to progress onto employment. It will also allow for progress to the AAT Foundation Certificate in Bookkeeping or the AAT Foundation Certificate in Accounting.
