Course description
The course is designed to develop your practical bookkeeping skills. It will introduce you to the role of the bookkeeper and bookkeeping terminology so that you can contribute effectively in the workplace. The course is made up of the following components: Identifying main duties and roles of the bookkeeper; Mastering double entry system for financial transactions; Processing customer and supplier transactions such as dealing with invoices and credit notes; Analysing cash books and recording receipts and payments.
You will take one computer-based online assessment at the end of the course. This course will give you the knowledge and confidence to progress to employment. It will allow to progress to the AAT Foundation Certificate in Bookkeeping or the AAT Foundation Certificate in Accounting.
