Learn the fundamentals of directing theatre, from how to communicate with actors, to understanding the 'rules' of stagecraft. During the course you will have hands-on experience of directing and acting, to gain insight into both perspectives.

What will you learn
Teaching will include presentations and discussions on topics such as casting or scheduling, with a variety of practical exercises in the sessions on text analysis and rehearsal techniques. In sessions focusing on work with actors, students will take turns directing each other, enabling them to develop an understanding of both sides of the rehearsal work.
In order to ensure that you make the best possible progress on your course, you will have regular feedback from your tutor, in a constructive and supportive environment
