Introduction to Throwing on the Potter's Wheel
Learn the basic principles of how to control clay and make a pot using the potters throwing wheel. You will have sole use of the wheel and be guided by group and individual demonstrations by an experienced production potter.

What will you learn
Observation Watching demonstrations of the individual techniques of throwing and turning and practice these to achieve the result required.
Discussion of forms and feedback on work produced. Group and individual tutorials. "Show and Tell" session of finished work. Observation of basic glazing demonstration and personal application.
