What you will learn
Most of this course takes place on the streets of London, where we will look at the actual buildings of the city, exploring a different area each week - e.g. The City of London, Bloomsbury and Hampstead. You will be encouraged to ask questions and make comments during sessions. The tutors will provide details of the buildings seen, and help place them in a context as to their origins, history, comparisons with other buildings and use at different periods in time. 2 sessions will take place at Morley on the 30th April and 11th June where the tutors will introduce you to the themes, styles and places to be explored offsite.
In order to ensure that you make the best possible progress ou your course, you will have regular feedback from your tutor, in a constructive and supportive environment.
