The one major difference between WordPress.com and WordPress.org is the method of hosting your website. With WordPress.org, you can have your own domain name, host your own blog or website and have full control of your blog/website. As for WordPress.com, by default, your domain name will include “WordPress.com” as part of your blog/website name and also you cannot upload any custom themes, plugins or modify the code behind your site. The class will be taught via a mix of presentation, active learning exercises, demonstrations, hand-outs, step-by-step instructions, pair working and group discussion. Guidance will be given to help develop ideas and skills and project work assigned to help you progress. The classes are informal and allow for question and answer sessions, technical advice and support depending on your needs, as well as for assessment and feedback on your progress. In order to ensure that you make the best possible progress on your course, you will have regular feedback from your tutor, in a constructive and supportive environment.
