Get involved in animal handling and care in the veterinary environment. Assist with care in the veterinary environment and undertake administrative duties in the veterinary care environment.

Entry Requirements
Four GCSEs at grade 4 (C) or above (to include English, maths and science at grade 3 (D) or above) Letter of support from a veterinary practice for you to complete work experience with them for two days per week.

After successful completion of the course students can expect to pursue one of the following career opportunities:
- You could progress into employment as a veterinary care assistant in a relevant practice.
Progression Opportunities
You could go on to do an apprenticeship in animal care or complete a Level 3 Diploma in Veterinary Nursing.
