National Theatre - Unique performance-based courses in personal impact, influence and communication skills

Dedicated to creating and sharing the very best theatre possible, the National Theatre is one of the UK's most prominent performing arts venues.

In addition to a vast range of theatre-focused courses, events and learning resources, the NT has drawn on its heritage and history to create a unique communications-based programme designed for individuals looking to improve their skills in an experiential way. This programme, known as Theatreworks, draws on the tried-and-tested techniques used by directors and actors to help professionals work on a number of key development areas including:

  • Personal Impact
  • Influencing Skills
  • Body Language
  • Developing Resilience
  • Voice Training

Course formats: training for individuals and businesses

The Theatreworks open courses in Personal Influence and Influence & Rapport are available year-round to individuals from the corporate, public and not-for-profit sectors. Companies looking to help larger groups of staff improve their communication skills and unlock their potential can instead opt for a bespoke programme delivered in one of the following formats:

  • Half-day or full-day courses
  • Coaching clinics
  • One-to-one coaching
  • High impact sessions

Designed to engage all participants, these custom-built sessions not only help delegates develop their personal communication and leadership capabilities, but also serve to enhance interaction and team effectiveness. This highly participative quality is what makes them highly effective training experiences, both individually and as part of company conferences, away-days and special events.

Whatever the training method chosen, Theatreworks courses promise to deliver deeply engaging, memorable experiences that enhance confidence and leverage individuals' creativity, helping them achieve greater impact and success for both their personal and professional futures.
