Level 3 Award Supporting Teaching and Learning
Working with children and young people and supporting their personal and academic development can be incredibly rewarding. If you’d like to work as a teaching assistant, a learning support assistant, or a special educational needs (SEN) assistant, this qualification provides you with the knowledge, understanding and skills to work in job roles that support children and young people’s learning in schools or colleges. It covers all aspects of specialist support to prepare you for a lifelong career in the education sector. Please note that this qualification requires learners to complete 100 hours of placement in a school working with children aged 5-16
