Course description
Come and Try Water Soluble Oils and Acrylics: This one week taster course would suit both someone who is relatively new to painting and painters looking to expand their knowledge.You will learn how to create a painting using a tonal range of at least 5 greys. Through demonstration and one-to-one tutoring you will undertake exercises and create at least one artwork.You will need to bring the following to your first session:
Flat palette
Water pot
Round headed brush - medium size
Flat brush - medium size
Acrylic painting paper
Masking tape
Tubes of black and white acrylic or water soluble oils (if using water soluble oils, please also bring along a bottle of thinner medium)
Your tutor will advise you further on materials during the session. Costs for materials will be approximately £30 - £40

Suitability - Who should attend?
Some experience of painting will be beneficial but is not a requirement of the course. You should also be dexterous (able to hold and use equipment).
