Course description
The follow-on course will allow you to develop these skills. You will work from sketches or photographs. Painting will be undertaken on some of the following surfaces; paper, card, board and canvas. You will undertake research to aid the production of your art creating a portfolio charting the progress of your artwork with accompanying reflective written work. Your final piece of work will be reflective of the methods explored on the course
Through informative demonstrations, practical work and group discussion, plus one-to-one tuition, you will be guided through exercises and projects to develop your skills.You will need to provide all painting equipment used in class. If you are undecided as to which medium you would like to work with, then your tutor will advise you at the first class Should you need advise on water soluble oils or acrylic painting materials your tutor will be pleased to send you a materials list on request or discuss your painting kit with you at the first session.
Estimated costs of materials needed are between £30 and £50. You will also require some photographs for use as reference materials.
Please bring your painting kit to the first class.
